Expected Schoolwide Learning Results
Students Will Demonstrate Their Ability to
1. Become Self-Directed Learners
- To work independently without daily classroom instruction.
- To communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- To demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills
- To return to the traditional high school “on track” to graduate
- Students will pass the CAHSEE.
- Students will complete a graduation plan.
- Students will establish life-long learning goals for self-improvement.
- Students will earn a high school diploma.
2. Be Successful, Contributing Members of Society
- To identify their unique individual skills and talents.
- Students will participate in one or more of these programs to prepare for the world of work or college: ROP, Work Experience, Community Service, or the concurrent enrollment program at Mt. San Jacinto Junior College.
- Students will complete a Senior Portfolio which will include a resume, interest inventory with the student’s reflections, letters of reference, and a post-secondary plan.
